Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on the 24th of April at Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American performer, songwriter and TV host. In 2002, she took home her first American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born within Burleson, Texas, a suburb located in Fort Worth, where her vocal talent was first noticed by the choir instructor at her school when she was just a seventh-grade student. When she graduated from high school Clarkson was transferred to Los Angeles, where she failed to make it into the show business. After returning home in Texas in 2002, the singer was a contestant for the FOX Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing contest allowed the audience to choose their top performer. Viewers were smitten with Clarkson's arresting personality, voice, and humor. The prize she received for winning the contest was $1 million and the recording contract was signed with RCA.
