Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of Canada and New Zealand-born actress. She was born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington, she was the first actress to appear in The Piano. In this romantic drama film at the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on July 24, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander, who, as a kid won an Academy Award in 1993 for the top supporting actress. Paquin moved to New Zealand from Canada as an infant and was raised there. In response to an audition, Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter of a Scottish musician. Flora McGrath is the daughter of a muted Scottish musician who came to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. She moved into the United States as a teen. Paquin appeared as Jane Eyre's protagonist as a teenager in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) and the main role for the character in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin played a minor role in the 1997 TV movie adaption of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) and Almost Famous (2000). In addition, she portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
